December 2011 - Conference Update from FDOA President Fred Jones:

On Thursday December 15, 2011 I met with the conference committee at the Collier County Sheriffs Office in reference to the upcoming 2012 conference. I would venture to say that we are ahead of schedule thanks to their hard work. There are classes in place and we will continue to add more classes that are relevant to the officers around the state. The communication between the Hilton and the committee has been very positive. I would again like to thank the Collier County Sheriffs Office for hosting the conference this year and we are looking forward to making this one of the best yet. I would also like to take the time to welcome Corporal Wayne Brooks aboard as our new First Vice President of the Florida Dare Officers Association. There will be an FDOA Board Meeting on Jan. 13, 2011 at 11:00 am in reference to conference updates and assignments. The meeting will take place at the Hilton of Naples located at 5111 Tamiami Trail North Naples,Fl. 34103. Have a great holiday and I look forward to meeting with everyone in the near future.
